Cape Fear River Basin Aquatic Activity Project

CFRCD is currently assessing the aquatic activity along the Cape Fear River basin to determine blockages and obstructions, changes in water flow, affected wildlife habitats, and sedimentation and debris contributing to flooding across the region.

This is a long-term, large-scale project working with the counties and communities along the Cape Fear River basin to alleviate the negative impacts of flooding and positively impact the effective flow of the riverbeds for both our communities and wildlife.
